The Warkworth Fall Fair

Warkworth is a summer go-to for fun, and this fall is no different with the Warkworth Fall Fair starting off the season on the first weekend of September. Friday is Toonie night on the midway so bring a heap of change for the cheap rides, plus a little extra so you can enjoy the Ribfest and Corn Roast. There are fun activities for kids and adults all weekend long, including a pie contest and auction, live music, and a car draw.

The Port Hope Fair

A classic fair with all the trimmings. The midway features rides, games, and more activities for the family. Celebrate local agriculture by attending a sheep shearing demo or a vintage tractor parade. Introduce yourself to the visiting chickens, cows and ponies before attending the Demolition Derby. There’s lots of live music and entertainment as well—you can get involved by signing up to be in the talent show!

The Brighton Applefest

This is one local festival celebrating apples that you definitely don’t want to miss. Kicking off with a pancake breakfast, each day brings something different to enjoy; a street fair featuring hundreds of vendors; a strong man competition and vintage tractor show; and the Codrington Farmers’ Market and craft show. Live entertainment includes beloved country band Little Lake.

The Roseneath Agricultural Fair

Though one of the smaller towns on Northumberland County's map, Roseneath boasts the best midway during their late fall fair. The heritage Carousel will be open for rides, plus a Ferris wheel and more for both the tame and the brave at heart. If you love animals, this is the fair for you, featuring a god show, poultry show, birds of prey demos, and a petting zoo of all things cute and cuddly. Come for the demolition derby, stay for the fireworks show, which takes place immediately following the demolition derby.
